You can use discount codes and e-vouchers to drive engagement within your venue. It's really easy to setup via the host dashboard and allows customers claim via the "Promo" code field on the Kiosk and online order checkout screens.
Here are some examples promotions and discounts you can set up:
Create % discount codes on the total order
Create % discount codes on specific products
Create fixed $ amount discounts
Create codes that are only available for limited customers
Create codes that are only valid for a set date or date range
Create e-vouchers such as $10, $20, $30 or what ever amount you desire!
How to set up your first code
For this one, navigate to the Dashboard, then select Voucher Manager on the left menu, then select Generate Code from the top right.
Write your promotion code into the Name field, then select the type of discount you're creating. Here's how the type of code works:
For Discount: This will give an option to select discount by fixed dollar amount or set a percentage discount.
For Free product: This will allow you to choose what product(s) can be given for free when the discount code is used.
For this example, we have chosen a 20% discount. On step 3, you then can decide if the code will apply on the full order total, or if it will be specific for products. Here's an example:
Selected products: A discount code might apply for only the burger products of a menu. You would then select each product that the code applies to.
For our 20% off discount code, we want this code to be applied off the full order total.
Next step you will need to specify an expiry date and a minimum order spend the customer will need before the code can be applied.
After setting a minimum amount to be spent, you'll then move onto step 5 which is deciding who can use the promotion code or voucher.
For this example, we're not giving it a usage limit and any customer with the code can use it. Because we have set an expiry date, we can still control or limit how the code can be used.
Lastly, you'll have a final review of the code rules and then press Confirm to make the code live.
