If you're entering in a WiFi password or any other custom word but are shown the error message "Network updation failed", this is caused by an incorrect password.
Check the following:
Lower and capital letters are correct
There are no additional space characters before and after the password. Start off by using the backspace to clear and space characters you may not be able to see.
The WiFi password for that respective network is correct
