How to connect a Verifone EFTPOS pay terminal to a WIFI network

To connect your Verifone EFTPOS terminal to WIFI, follow the below process:

  1. Click the # button, then enter 999 for the passcode

  2. Navigate down to Utility, then select Comms setup

  3. Select Comms settings, then WIFI

  4. Select Setup, then DHCP.

  5. Accept all of the "Comms port" screen information until you get to the screen with "Searching for WIFI". Once the available networks are displayed select the network you want to connect to.

Next you will have displayed Comms Settings "Pre-shared Key". Use the relevant buttons to spell out the WIFI password. Be sure to check there are no additional space characters and the lower and capital letters are correct. Once you have entered the password, click the Green tick.

Note: because the terminal is not connected to the internet, it may be slow and laggy.
